Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 12, 2026 • Entity: Auraloop Inc. (Canada) • PIPEDA & GDPR Aligned

1. Overview & Commitment to Corporate Privacy

Auraloop Inc. ("Auraloop," "we," "our," or "us") is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of data security, confidentiality, and integrity. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, process, manage, and safeguard information gathered through our website (auraloop.ca), digital assessment tools, client portals, and commercial communications.

As a materials science and circular logistics provider supplying enterprise enterprises, we recognize that packaging specifications, procurement volume, and cost profiles represent proprietary trade information. We treat all commercial and personal data with rigorous confidentiality under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and international privacy frameworks.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information across three primary operational categories:

  • Direct Contact & Evaluation Information: Name, corporate email address, direct phone number, job title, company name, shipping address for sample evaluation dispatch, and customer support inquiries.
  • Operational Packaging Assessment Data: Current roll width, roll length, gauge (thickness), application method (manual hand wrap, automated rotary wrapper, or hybrid), monthly roll consumption, current landed cost per roll, and number of distribution centers.
  • Technical & Telemetry Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, pages visited, session duration, and device characteristics collected through privacy-first analytical cookies.

3. Treatment of Proprietary Commercial Packaging Data

Commercial Non-Disclosure Guarantee

Operational details provided via our 2-step assessment flow or Direct Container inquiries—including facility pallet throughput, historical plastic costs, and supply chain volumes—are strictly utilized to formulate customized cost-reduction models and Direct Container logistics schedules. We will never sell, rent, or publicly disclose your facility packaging data to third-party distributors or competitors.

4. How We Use Collected Information

Auraloop Inc. uses collected data strictly for lawful and operational business purposes:

  • Generating precise per-pallet cost comparisons, yield calculations, and pre-stretch optimization models.
  • Calculating verifiable Scope 3 plastic reduction (kg/year) and carbon avoidance metrics (MT CO2e/year) for enterprise ESG disclosures.
  • Scheduling and dispatching sponsored enterprise evaluation kits with prepaid freight to qualified distribution centers.
  • Managing Direct Container program reservations (10-pallet domestic, 20' ocean container, and 40' high-cube configurations).
  • Administering client portal access, shipment telemetry, and BPI certification compliance documentation.
  • Ensuring technical stability, security monitoring, and continuous performance enhancements of our digital tools.

5. Third-Party Sharing & Freight Coordination

We do not sell personal or corporate data under any circumstances. Information may be shared only with verified partners strictly necessary to fulfill our service commitments:

  • Freight & Logistics Providers: Trusted ocean carriers, customs brokers, and domestic LTL ground freight partners to coordinate dock delivery.
  • Verification & Testing Laboratories: BPI (Biodegradable Products Institute) and ASTM testing bodies solely for compliance validation and batch certification auditing.
  • Regulatory & Legal Authorities: Disclosures mandated by North American federal or provincial law, court orders, or emergency situations involving corporate security.

6. Data Retention & Cybersecurity Standards

Auraloop Inc. implements multi-layer technical and organizational safeguards, including SSL/TLS 256-bit encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage for customer databases, and restricted access controls limited to authorized personnel. Data is retained only as long as necessary to maintain commercial accounts, satisfy audit standards, or fulfill statutory accounting obligations.
